• Pinnacles - about a 60 mile drive from San Jose

• If you ever want to go to Yosemite and want to avoid the crowds this is a great place to stay just outside the southern gate. The restaurant is probably the best in the Yosemite area, and the room rates are not expensive. It has a great little lagoon type pool and a hot tub to soak in after a long day of climbing.
